GMA International Launches New Channels In Malaysia

GMA Network – through its international channels GMA Pinoy TV, GMA Life TV, and GMA News TV International – launches its services in Malaysia thru official carrier ABNxcess.

Asian Broadcasting Network, or ABN, is Malaysia’s first digital cable TV network. Its tagline “Access for All” proves true with many regions in the country asking for their service. Their official commercial launch will be on July 9 and in conjunction with this, they will be having their grand pre-launch event on June 8, of which GMA International, the business unit handling the Network’s international channels, will be a part of.

The event will be held at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur. It is called “Era Baru” and is a gathering of advertisers, content and service providers, and viewers alike, from the country and the region. Described as an “afternoon-long carnival”, its main feature are the booths that ABN channel partners would have that they can use to showcase their content and their channels. Exciting freebies are in store for guests who will drop by the GMA International booth.

The event will end with a mega concert in the evening featuring performances by artists from Malaysia and the region. It is expected that 30,000 people would attend the “Era Baru”, definitely proving that it is a celebration “for the people, with the people, and for the nation”.

GMA Pinoy TV, GMA Life TV and GMA News TV International can be seen in the US and in countries in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia Pacific.
